Prepare:  Letters of Recommendation

If you are planning on atteding a 4-year college or applying for scholarships, it is important to acquire at least three letters of recommendtion.  Asking an individual such as a teacher or employer is a good idea.  A close friend or family member is typically not used as a source for recommendations.

 

Try to give the individual at least two weeks to write your letter and always remember to write a thank you note in return.
